i consider myself lgbtqia+ for being intersex, if another intersex person disagrees then this is an intersex intracommunity issue, and an entirely different discourse that should solely be made up of intersex people.

dyadic/perisex/non-intersex people need to stop bring up intersex people into ace discourse. ESPECIALLY if you’re trying to speak for us “as a community”. we’re all individual people with our own ideas of what it means to be LGBT(QIA+).

and please, for the love of christ, stop saying “the intersex community has said they don’t want to be lgbt” because i don’t remember being invited to a fucking intersex meeting where we all unanimously agreed to remove the I from LGBTQIA+. this is an intracommunity issue that non-intersex people should not be involved in.

I checked the link and I realized that the person who made the callout moved urls, I updated it and it should be working now, but I’ll put the evidence on here as well. This is essentially a summary of what angryfey has done here and why I suggest people should no-platform him:

He told someone who was schizophrenic that they were lying and faking their mental illness (despite not being schizophrenic himself), he is also anti self-dx and has proven to be ableist to people who self diagnose.

In addition he also believes that people who are autistic cannot reclaim the r slur, which many people who are autistic have spoken out against. 

He stepped over multiple transwomen when he said that transwomen could not reclaim the f slur, (slime, a transwoman, called him out for this) and he literally showed no signs of sympathy or regret for doing this, instead he defended himself again and misgendered them. He did apologize for misgendering them, but by trying to find an excuse for it he implied that pronouns are attached to gender. (which is transphobic, pronouns =/= gender).. and then this happened shortly afterwards when people called him out for misgendering said person.

He also called someone q*eer without their consent, and when the person expressed discomfort over being called q*eer he called them q*eer again and accused said person of being biphobic and nbphobic that they didn’t want to be called a slur.

So, in short, I’m not being a “gullible inclusionist” when I refuse to platform him and encourage others to do the same. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior and I’m genuinely concerned that you believe he was “pushed” to make these mistakes. I’ll take him off the blocklist when he addresses all of these properly instead of letting them slide as if it never happened.

First of all, I’m not Straight™.  “Straight” are, by the exclusionist definition, people who are romantically or sexually attracted to someone of the opposite gender.  I am Aromantic and Asexual - I am neither sexually nor romantically attracted to anyone, regardless of gender.  Care to tell me how that makes me Straight™?

How is it “soooo galling”? If Stonewall, the place that is often cited as being the defining moment in the LGBT+ movement, is hanging an Asexual flag on their building, it clearly states that they feel as if we belong.

Instead, it’s actually “recorded evidence of child sexual assault/abuse”. In the case of written and drawn shit, it’s technically “simulated child sexual assault/abuse”.

Now… doesn’t that sound one fuck-ton less “appealing” as some sort of “coping mechanism” than cp (which technically implies some sort of consent)? see, theres this thing that happens in the world. being straight is the assumed default. this is a bit messed up and i think we all agree on that. but so many people are like ‘aces don’t need to come out. only REAL members of the community can come out.’ 

ah but this is where you are wrong, my dear exclusionist. 

when a person goes through life and they show no sexual attraction towards anyone, people start to wonder. my family, my friends, they all wondered why i never had a boyfriend. they all wondered why i never had a girlfriend. many of them thought i was afraid they wouldn’t accept my gayness and that i may have a secret girlfriend. some of them took me aside and told me that if i was gay that it was okay and i shouldn’t feel ashamed to admit it to them. i was so grateful everyone was so accepting except the thing is, I’m not gay. I’m ace. 

i needed to let my people know that i was, in fact, asexual. i needed to ‘come out’ if you will. so thats what i did. i came out as asexual and then of course nobody knew what that was. after i explained it to them they thought it was weird. my mom said she would have preferred if i were a lesbian because then at least i wouldn’t die alone and she wondered what she had done wrong to make me turn out like this. 

but whatever, ‘the mystery of the lesbian cousin’ has been solved and it turns out that she’s this weird sexuality that nobody has ever heard of and will soon forget about.

This morning I woke up to find ANOTHER “”””ace discourse”””” blogger (this time an inclusionist, but it comes from BOTH “sides”) harassing & trigger-baiting another minor. This is becoming a DAILY thing now and I cannot stand it. It’s NOT OKAY. 

Thankfully, the problematic blog has deleted and the marginalized minor they attacked seems to be ok and totally and bravely held their own (I’m quite impressed tbh, and I hope you all send @bpd-corgi love and support. The attack was really nasty and even triggered ME (all their ableism and something else about it, I dunno…) so I’m sure bpd-corgi could benefit from some positivity and community right now. 

My point is though that this really needs to stop and I’m offering people an alternative to actually pressing “send” on that horrifying ask or “post” on that terrible post/addition. 

There ARE alternatives to spreading hate and while I know a lot of the ppl out there are doing it very very intentionally, I’m hoping that this post can reach at least some of the ones that aren’t necessarily looking to cause harm but cannot control the urge to speak their mind. 

The link <<<< screamintothevoid.com >>>> is a great alternative outlet that enables you to express yourself but NEVER actually “share” it. 

Maybe if more people start using this nifty tool we can reduce the net-harm caused by all this terrible mess, and to me, that sounds like a good start.
