THANK YOU! That’s great to hear! Have they addressed it at all? Explain why and how that happened and how they’re going to make sure shit like that doesn’t happen again?

2/ It’s really interesting considering deep pressure is also what calms autistic people (and a lot of people with anxiety disorders too).
OMG SO CUTE!! Give that sweet little baby all the love she deserves, that’s wonderful. My cats are also super big on massages, although Gracie is even more into the light but spanks lol.
So sorry btw that it’s taken so long to respond to this message, i completely forgot about it, many apologies my friend!!
Personally, my fibro complicates the concept of a massage for me so I don’t tend to get them (wayyyy too painful), but it’s great to know that other autistic folks benefit from deep pressure massages!! It sounds like it would be super nice if it weren’t for all the fibro pain points :/
@loxol replied to your post “my roomie has a cold or something and now, on day two of her illness,…”I hope you haven’t gotten sick and I hope your roommate feels better!
Yikes. I’m not a germ freak but I always make sure to wash my hands + shower extra (though not over-washing my hair) during this time of the year.
TY, i’m having my matcha and she’s making scrambled tofu. I’ll also eat soon too, I promise lol. Gotta feel better!!! :((((

YES! I was also considering just having a tank top made with

Thank you, my friend!!
I love getting good, honest, genuine questions; Please keep those coming!
I will try to get to them as fast as possible, I’m just tired and feeling like doing a little resting right now. But please go ahead and ask me genuine questions about aspec stuff (or whatever) and I can do my best to explain from my own personal perspective/experience. I also have lots of aspec friends/followers now that may chime in as well. I’m doing my best to create a community of our own on tumblr because we NEED & deserve one!!!!!

Hi there, sorry it took so long to respond. Your questions require more energy than I’ve had since you sent it. I don’t really have it today either but I’m feeling badly about taking so long so I’m gonna try lol.
Career paths = http://careers.yorku.ca/my-degree/criminology/
Research areas are just…. SO MANY so I’m really not gonna delineate that atm. I will say that although it’s only ever found in the sociology department (AFAIK), criminology is an interdisciplinary field that pieces together whatever useful info it can from whatever fields it can, to figure out the mystery that is “crime”. Even our theories of crime, which inform pretty much everything we do in criminology, are all over the map. Like, they’re in biology, sociology, psychology, media studies, etc. This is how I’ve managed to move to communication studies for my PhD and feel more like a criminologist than I ever have before.
And I bet you can guess WHY criminology has to be so interdisciplinary. The short of it is: Crime affects us everywhere. This means that your potential for finding an area of research within criminology that you’re incredibly passionate about are very high.
So now you wanna know about my stuff??? Well, I study the social construction of crime and deviance from a social constructionist, intersectional feminist, & critical criminological perspective. I’m a little too tired to explain it further than this though. If you give me your email I can email you my two published papers. One’s only a cluster book review on girls’ deviance but the other is my first and only research paper published, based on my MA research and I will be basing my PhD dissertation on it. The theories of risk society and moral panic are incredibly important to my work.
I hope this is all helpful to you with your decision, even if I didn’t actually give you much of the info you asked for lol.
